HOW in the world can I have a small wedding without offending so many of our friends? I want them all to be there, but the space only accommodates up to 100 people... plus, we REALLY do want it small.

This is frustrating. I'm sure we'll have several who won't fly down for it, but still...yikes.

Guest list is 23, including us, right now. I want to add my aunts and uncles because I’m close to them (so what, 6 more people). Fiancée doesn’t want them at all because then he feels obligated to invite his and he isn’t close to them. Where is the compromise?! I said no cousins, I know that’s harsh, but we want to have a party over them summer and have everyone who wasn’t invited. His mom hates the idea! Said, “then it’s a BBQ, NOT a wedding.”
