I think the sale lady called me fat while dress shopping.

Well she said "wow you are very blessed" everytime I was putting on a dress. She said it over and over and over.Never when I was taking it off only when I was putting it on.By the third dress I wanted to cry.I came home and just broke down crying. @ditmara beautiful pic.@Cassie B. so sweet thanks. I think it's the way the sales lady said it.If I was truly saying someone is blessed I would say it with a smile and from my heart not while pulling on a dress that might have been a size smaller and saying "wow you are very bless" to me she wanted to say wow you are very fat. I will not be going back there. Before we left the store my friend told her I was having 12 BM's and 3 flower girls and that's when her face light up. I guess she was thinking wow I can have a really "big" I mean "blessed" sale here. lol

You are blessed. That lady shocked that she never seen such beauty on one women. Here's me I am not 120. more like 200. And no matter how many times I am asked am I pregnant. I laugh it off cause I can change weight ya can't change ugly and nine times out of ten if someone is saying your "blessed" its cause their "ugly"

This is why I love all of you WW ladies and the support you give. Antonette, you're beautiful. More importantly, your FH thinks your beautiful. I too am a blessed girl. I've actually spent time reading articles on how to pose yourself to help make you look thinner in photos. We all want to feel beautiful and see ourselves the way I'm sure your FH see you. It's horrible that a salesperson in that position has no clue how hurtful those comments could be.

I'd like to throw my 2 cents in after reading through all the posts so far. My reaction is that the sales girl wasn't calling you fat. I really do think she was talking about your boobs (and maybe curves). You don't tell someone that she's "blessed" as an insult. It does sound like she said it way too many times though. I would try to take her comment as a compliment!

Okay my two cents again. Even if the woman was talking about her boobs as a 36DDD, we don't need to hear it said ten times to get the idea that yeah we blessed. We live with them, we have to wear a bra 24/7 even to sleep. We knows we blessed. Only an idiot repeating it a hundred times would consider it a complement.

I looked and looked for a pic of my "blessed" boobs cause normally I wear really secure bras or double wrap them with gauze. Look you have to wear safety glasses to not get knocked out by these suckers and just a plan bra doesn't help. That's like putting two fists in gloves. Excuse the faces lol

LutaWolf you are so funny. Yes I agree with you. We don't need someone telling us over and over just how blesses our boobs are

I am a size 8. im about 140-145 lbs but im tall, a little over 5'7. when i was buying my dress, the sales girl (5'1, 100lbs maybe) took me back to alterations. i forget what we were talking about but i mentioned that i was going to try to lose a little bit of weight before the wedding anyway. she said something along the lines of "oh well we dont take dresses down more than 2 sizes". exactly how much weight does she think i need to lose?? i only meant about 5-7 lbs, but apparently she thinks i need to lose more.

people dont think before they speak.
