i think i found the dress

So, I’m getting married 08/22/2020!!! I went dress shopping for the first time this past weekend and I’m 99% sure I found my dream dress! It is not at all what I was going in looking for (I wanted sleeves but as soon as I put them a couple on with sleeves I looked terrible!!) so we started from square one. I just wanted to post pictures here 1. So I can see what you all think 2. So I can show someone other than my fiancé because I get his opinion about everything and obviously he can’t see it! I’m going to one more place this coming weekend because I have major FOMO and I have only been to the one place, and other circumstances came up, like my grandma not being able to come and I want her there, but we are going to try on some more Sunday just so I can be certain that that is my dress and my siblings and grandma can be there!

the straps will be added on, they were just kind of tucked down into the dress… that’s why they look kind of awkward. I loved it without the straps (I don’t want to be pulling the dress up all night) but as soon as she added them, I knew it was perfect! Obviously it’ll need alterations and stuff done so I’m not swimming in it, I’m fairly short!

I had the same issue with sleeves! Loved the idea, pinned a bunch, then tried some on and basically wanted to puke LOL.
But I am absolutely in love with your dress! The color, shape, and details look great on you.

I think this is beautiful on you, Hunter.
It flares out at such a nice point and creates a lovely silhouette. That train is just gorgeous!

I think it's beautiful, congratulations! I love all the beading. I think it's a great idea to go to another salon & make sure it's the right dress. I thought I found my dream dress on our first day of dress shopping (at the second salon) but held out and we went to another salon a month later and I found my dream dress there.

They’re all the same dress! The picture without the straps is the same dress, they were just being a pain sense they aren’t a part of it yet!

Thank you! I knew I didn’t want a ball gown, but I tried on an a-line and mermaid and hated how they looked on me, a sheath wasn’t too bad but fit and flare was definitely the best option for me!

Yes! If you look in the picture that is of my back but I’m looking into the mirror, it shows the veil I’ll get with it! It has some sparkle stuff around the edge that matches some detail in the dress itself! I tried on a long veil but it took away from the back of the dress, so the veil that I have on on the picture matches it perfectly!
