I think this dress is gorgeous!!!

Personally I like veils that are mid length and complement the dress, so I could see how this veil takes away from the dress. I had the opposite problem with my mom though where she said my veil was too plain and needed to add some things to it, so I spent another $50 for the seamstress to alter a $40 veil

This dress is absolutely stunning on you. I personally like the veil. While obviously family opinions are important you are the one wearing the dress so it really comes down to how you feel. If you feel amazing in it then you should wear it. I tried on 9 dresses and went with dress #7

You rock that dress! I love the veil, it matches so well and from the back I actually looked at the back of your dress first, then the veil. You’ll only wear it for some photos and the ceremony anyway.

Beautiful! If you love the veil, that's all that matters. Your family isn't wearing the ensemble. If it didn't go with the dress, the designer would pair up something entirely different.

I love your dress you picked and I loved the veil & once the reception starts the veil will be off so no worry's about it taking from the dress... But can I see the dress they want you to pick?

Thanks! This is the dress they wanted me to choose but I don't really love the front.

I personally love your dress and I think the bottom of your veil, accents the details on the back of your gown...I don't think it takes away at all....your veil is longer than your dress, so that's perfect, in my opinion.
I tried on three dresses, I fell in love with the second dress I tried on. It made me cry, and I felt like a bride, so I knew it was for me.
I say listen to your gut and follow your heart, in the end your opinion is the only one that matters. It's all about how it makes you feel when you put it on
