I'm so excited! I've been going in circles trying to find the perfect dress. I finally realized that it doesn't exist. I had a bridal appointment yesterday and spent two hours trying dresses on but still couldn't find my everything dress. Must-haves:
Sparkling lace underlay so the dress shimmers in the sunlight
Dramatic showstopper train
Lots of beading
A romantic bodice in V-neck or off-shoulder style
While trying on a gorgeous Martina Liana fall 2019 style, my consultant recommended customizing it to be exactly what I want. She brought out their customization specialist and three of them went to work showing me how we can replace the original lace with a sparkling lace, take off the long sleeves, add boning, and add a lace cap sleeve. The results: My Dream Dress! I can't wait to see the actual dress!
I did a quick digital cut-and-paste of my bodice design. The skirt will have shimmering lace in place of the dull lace in the photo.
