Haha!

What was your experience like? Emotional or like mine?

It's hard! I had this idea of what I wanted but when on I was like heck no!!! So awful. I was pretty "yes" and "no" in the dressing room. I found what I liked and I made one little comment and the lady knew how to add the right about of sparkle! I would have struggled without her honestly.

I would have had like 40 dresses if I could get away with it. Money though...it's a mood killer. Haha

Well.... in my case, I didn’t even try on dresses. I know what I like and don’t put a lot of stress into a dress. My focus is on the overall look and experience of our wedding, versus just the dress or any single aspect.

I randomly stumbled on a pic of a dress that caught my eye and looked ALL over online for it. I also showed FH and he liked it too. But since my dress was from the designer's 2015 collection (who no longer makes wedding dresses), finding pics of it on brides was tough..... and I finally found only 2 bridal shops in 2 different states who were selling the dress (new/unused and shockingly in my size). So I contacted one of the bridal salons, paid and had it shipped. My first time trying on the dress was at my house.... and it was as perfect as I knew it would be.

I haven't actually bought the dress yet. It's off the rack from David's Bridal and I am 99% sure I am going with it. Mostly because most of the samples at boutiques don't fit me, I don't want to spend that much money, it's the dress that's gotten the least negative comments from everyone I've shown, and of all the dresses I've tried on, I look the skinniest.

There's been no epiphany or emotional moment, but the more I think of how to jazz it up, the more excited I get.
