I love using the word fiancé(e) - true or false?

FALSE! I find it so pretentious sounding. I wish there was another word I could use. I don't mind saying "This is my fiance" but I hate when I'm telling a story and have to refer to him as my fiance (say because someone doesn't know him by name). I feel like I'm bragging and I feel bad.

False, kind of. I use it when I have to. FH almost never refers to me as his fiancée, always his "ole lady" it's just easier him to use that term & we're from Arkansas. Kinda normal haha

False! I have nothing against it but I'm not excited to use it either.

Same! I say husband to be, but even that is awkward, so I find myself using his name more often. HAHA! We looked up if there was another word for fiance, but there was not. I feel pretentious saying it. I am definitely proud to be his fiance though.

False. I'm much more likely to just refer to him as my husband LOL either the person I'm talking to knows him by his first name or I use husband to avoid questions

Definitely, if they don’t know my fiancé’s name I say “my fiancé”. I love the fact that I’m engaged and getting married!
