FALSE! I find it so pretentious sounding. I wish there was another word I could use. I don't mind saying "This is my fiance" but I hate when I'm telling a story and have to refer to him as my fiance (say because someone doesn't know him by name). I feel like I'm bragging and I feel bad.

False, kind of. I use it when I have to. FH almost never refers to me as his fiancée, always his "ole lady" it's just easier him to use that term & we're from Arkansas. Kinda normal haha

False! I have nothing against it but I'm not excited to use it either.

True/False! I LOVE saying it, but I don't feel the need to plug it into every conversation

Same! I say husband to be, but even that is awkward, so I find myself using his name more often. HAHA! We looked up if there was another word for fiance, but there was not. I feel pretentious saying it. I am definitely proud to be his fiance though. Smiley smile

False. I'm much more likely to just refer to him as my husband LOL either the person I'm talking to knows him by his first name or I use husband to avoid questions

Definitely, if they don’t know my fiancé’s name I say “my fiancé”. I love the fact that I’m engaged and getting married!

Agreed. I was going to say the same thing. Definitely feels like I’m bragging. I just say “husband” to strangers like when making a reservation or use his name. No need to say fiancé, everyone I know, knows he’s Brad, my fiancé, no need to say it over and over

I hate it. It sounds like I’m mispronuncing Target. I’m good with husband. Lol!

I really don't like saying it and avoid it most of the time, he says it way more often than I do

True! I thought I’d feel ridiculous using the word (and kinda did the first few times) but now I love it!! It’s a title we get to use so briefly- I’m gonna take advantage as much as I can!

False, feels unnatural. Sounds as though you are fishing for a congratulations.
