i have a new unused dressed

I was going to wear my dream dress from an engagement when I was 20. I'm 44 now. I finally lost the weight to fit into it but it was too much and too heavy for our destination wedding. So I have a never-worn, never altered dress in preservation boxes that I can try to sell but wont come close to what we paid for it. When I have time, I'll glam up, stand on a pedestal (cuz I'm too short for the dress) and post it for sale. Hate that it's never been worn and would love for someone else to enjoy it. Do whatever feels right. My fiance was fine with me wearing the first one but I'm happy I found a different one.

Honestly, I wouldn't wear the dress. I only say that because when dress shopping I think about what I like but what I also think my fiance would picture me in. What I would want his image of me to be the first time he saw me. That might be different between each fiance or you might be in a different place in your life. Your dress should fit that.
