I hate my MUA. Make up trial sucked (pics included)

I don't see the pics? Tell her you didn't like it and that you would like another trial and change up everything you are not happy about. If not, I suggest looking for someone else.

The pictures didn't attach. Did you talk her about what you envisioned for your make-up or what you liked/didn't like after she was done? It's hard to say because we can't see what it actually looks like, but maybe it could fixed by talking it out rather than trying to find a new one?

From what I can see, its not bad but if you don't like it then have her do it again or go with another MUA.

That picture is so hard to see what's going on... do you have a better one? Because in that picture I think it looks good? It looks like you're not wearing much at all. Just a little eyeshadow and lip stick.

I think you look great. What makeup did she apply heavy? Foundation, eyeshadow?

Be honest with her! I used to do makeup a while back and the majority of MUA's just want happy clients- communication is key. It helps to tell her the kind of makeup you are comfortable with- what do you like about the foundation you wear right now? What features do you want to focus on for your look?

Keep in mind that photography makeup is much different than everyday makeup, so it's ok to have a little bit more on than normal when you will be photographed because the camera tends to take away 40-60% of what you see in the mirror

Well if you don't like it, just tell her & book someone else for another trial.

Ok I see it now. What kind of foundation did you use? The person doing mine is using air brush? Maybe find someone else or just ask her to lighten it up. But keep in mind your going to want it somewhat heavy because you want it to look good for several hours. I think it looks good* from the picture!

I think it looks great, it looks soft. Maybe it's coming out better in picture than in person? But since you're unhappy just tell her exactly why. If she's a good artist she will listen and re-do it to your liking.

You look really miserable in the picture so it's hard to get an idea of what the makeup actually looks like (also the sideways thing), but I think it looks fine. If you don't like it, book someone else or ask her for another trial but be specific about what you did/didn't like.

Did you tell her you wanted a certain look or just let her do whatever? I'd ask her to do another trial before going to someone else. Just let her know what you didn't like about the makeup.

From what I am able to see, I think it looks really pretty. But if you aren't happy with it then find someone else. Just tell the MUA that you have decided to go elsewhere!

Just tell her it's not exactly what you were looking for as wedding makeup and thank her for the trial but you are going to go with a different makeup artist. I had to tell 2 MUA this. I took me 4 trials to find the right one.

I like it. Remember you will need more than the normal since you want it to show up in pictures.

But if your not happy just be open and honest with her. Just tell her you want to explore other "looks", maybe show her pictures, and I tell her what your not comfortable with. Good luck!

I think her color choices dont bring out your best features ...An hour and half is a long time but that is what some MUAs do to get a glam look.... But that does not look like it should have taken that long .... I Its called a trial for a reason ... As long as you didnt sign a contract or promise her business keep exploring...
