I hate being the center of attention. Anyone else with me?!

I am a bit like that but I am sure that I will not even pay attention because I will be so happy.

I'm right there with you. Most of our epics show how uncomfy both FH and I were. We hate people looking at us and we don't PDA beyond holding hands except for rare days when we'll peck. People notice and ask if we are sure we're marrying the right person. We laugh because at home we can be all over each other, but it is private and we like it that way. The kiss at the alter is going to be hell on earth for us.

Me! I really wanted to elope for this reason but FH really wanted a wedding where majority of our friends and family could attend. I know I will most def be needing a few drinks to calm my nerves!

FH and I are both nervous about being the center of attention. That's why we're having a relatively small wedding (75) with just our immediate family and close friends.

Girl dont worry, you will be so excited and eager to see your hubby that you wont worry about people looking at you!! Plus you can always have wine while getting ready. or xanax. but not both

I don't like it either. I just found out that my cousin and his wife (got married back in August 2012) are now 11 weeks pregnant. As soon as I heard it, I was SO excited mostly because I knew that VERY SOON the spotlight will go to someone else and my FH and I can get back to being the boring hermit crabs that we are! HAHAHA.

I feel ya. For this reason, I don't plan on "walking down the aisle." At that point you know everyone is just staring. I couldn't handle it.

Same here!! We decided to do the first look, which I'm hoping will calm my nerves. My biggest fear is that my anxiety will cause me to be so distracted walking down the aisle that I forget to look at my FH-- which is a once-in-a-lifetime moment that I'm really looking forward to!

Not sure if you've ever watched the movie "Big Daddy," but when Julian puts on his magic sunglasses in that movie he thinks he is invisible. I'm kinda hoping that I'll feel the same way when I pull the veil down over my eyes, lol.

I'm freaking out about that with my shower coming up...I can't even imagine how I'll feel when its time to walk down that aisle :-z Yikes!

I feel the same way! FH on the other hand is such a cut up, he will probably steal the show, which is fine with me!

I don't like being the center of attention either. I'm SUPER nervous about walking down the aisle, saying my vows in front of everyone, and then doing our dance and all of that. But I'm really hoping that it will help knowing that even though it's all eyes on me (us), all those eyes belong to people who love us and support us. Fingers crossed that gets me through it lol.

I'm with all of you. The aisle walk is killing me. I get anxious just thinking about it.

I'm not concerned about being in the spotlight coming down the isle, or the first dance since it's slow, but neither me nor FH are dancers so I hope people will dance all night even though we may not be dancing all night.

I don't like it either, that's why I'll be drinking mimosas while I'm getting ready.

Im with you... I hope the ceremony part goes by fast becuase I will either Trip, burp, laugh histerically, or sneeze. I am clumsy and dont need others to watch my cluster mess lol

Ugh hate it! I am thankful for meds & alcohol!!
