I FORGOT THANK YOU NOTES

Emily, on December 10, 2012 at 1:25 PM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 5

I just found a box in my desk filled with Thank You notes from my wedding that I had apparently forgotten to send!!! It has nearly every thank you note that I had, minus a few that I hand delivered. My wedding was a year and a half ago! What should I do? Should I still send them? Should I include a note to explain why they were late? I can't believe I hadn't seen them, and no one has even approached me about them.

I don't know what ettiquette would have to say about this other than "how rude!" Smiley winking

buuuttt.. honestly.. being well over a year ago, I wouldn't sweat it.. if anyone was so offended by it, I'm sure they're over it by now.. but maybe you could make it up with a little Christmas gift this year ;P

I know, I almost had a heart attack when I pulled out this box that got shoved to the back of a draw. I was like, "OMG I AM THE WORST BRIDE EVER!!!" I was thinking I might slip them into my Christmas cards with a little note.

I was waiting around for my wedding photos to send out my thank yous and now I feel it's ridiculously late, so we'll be giving each of our guests their photobooth picture (which they don't have yet, pretty excited!) framed with a note of thanks and Merry Christmas.. in addition to our Christmas cards ;P
