i finally did it.... the thing most of us have been dreading.

This morning I finally made the decision to postpone my wedding due to COVID-19...
My original date was set for May 16th.....and I have now changed it to June 20th...,luckily my venue for the reception was very understanding and had that date available 🙌🏽 But now I have the stress of trying to find a photographer b/c my original photographer is booked for a wedding that day....& not to mention the church may have something going on as well... uhh please just send positive vibes and encouragement my way I could really use it..... because I’m honestly at the point of calling the whole entire thing off. 😔

Hi there, so sorry you are going through this too, you're not alone! I've just posted a lengthy message regarding this issue. I think it would really help you to read it.

I understand. It's never an easy decision. Mine was forcibly canceled as the FL Keys are now through April when mine was scheduled. I have chalked it up to fate. Be well

Everything will be okay, don't stress. Most of us are affected in some way. Our wedding was supposed to be on April 4th and we've changed our entire plans with an open mind. We're going to be having an intimate ceremony/reception (26 guests) hopefully in July but might be pushed back later, depending. And then perhaps next year, depending, we'll have a bigger reception with family and friends (original 88 guest count). All of our guests have been notified and are super relived as many opened up and told us they weren't going to be going to our wedding because of the pandemic, and are just happy we changed our plans.
