i don't want a white dress

A white dress was never an option for me either. I had originally planned on getting a black dress, but ended up falling in love with one that is champagne-blush and oatmeal. There are tons of brides that don't wear white, or any other common wedding dress color (ivory, champagne, blush, etc.), and it looks like the bridal industry is FINALLY acknowledging it and offering gowns in many different colors now! If you know white isn't for you, I'd highly suggest trying on a wide array of colors to find which is The One for you. You might be surprised, like I was!

I love a non-white dress! Pink is my favourite colour so I was definitely open to a blush option, but when I started looking, there were very few to pick from where I live.

Also, when I thought about it, I decided there are loads of opportunities to wear pink dresses in life, but only one where I wouldn't look weird wearing a big ol' white ballgown, so I should take my chance while I have it.

But, I love watching episodes of Say Yes to the Dress where a bride will just... not be a white dress gal, and instead will pick something that totally reflects who she is, and it is SO satisfying.

Like this pink beauty, which I think is one of the first wedding dresses I ever pinned on pinterest. I just love how romantic and hazy it is.

My dress was a blush color.

I love colorful wedding dresses!! I tried on a few in shades of blue & lavender and really like them, but ended up in a dress in the color "oyster" (very off white).

I have heard this is becoming very popular I have 2 dresses for my ceremony a big poofy ball gown is champagne with an ivory overlay and my reception dress which is a trumpet/ fit and flare is champagne I love my dresses

This is a lovely dress Rosie and I can see why you would pinterest this I would love to see this with her standing up.

My first dress had pink on it as a band of colour on a white dress and I loved it. I also had a layer of pink in my veil and pink bands around the top of my gloves.
