I don't want a bachelorette party..am I the only one?

Kristine, I'm with you. I dont raelly want one, and if we even have one, I'd rather it be a joint party, becuase if not, we're just splitting our usual one group of friends into two groups.... it feels odd. Also my bridal party is all out of state for me, and I will not expect them to fly up here twice! And I know I can't fly down.

My FSIL expects a lot of out this wedding that she's not getting, haha.

Yeah those drinking days are long gone for me- I'd much rather have a perpetual buzz than be blackout drunk. We are staying local- dinner and dancing Friday, hitting the beach Saturday, only 45 mins to an hour away and hopefully staying the night and doing some bar hopping. I've found the more hyped the party is- the more of a let down it can be if it doesn't go right. Stick to something you know will be fun!

Your not the only one, I told my MOH I dont want one unless its something chill like a spa day with the girls!

We had a tea party and a local tea shop. It was so much fun -we all wore fancy hats and sipped tea and little sandwiches, scones, and desserts, feeling all posh.

Just discussed this today with my MOH and told her since I'm not a drinker I don't want to get drunk. We decided to do a girl's day out in NY and possibly hit a comedy club and I really want to see a Drag Show lol I want it to be something of an experience not just smashed drunk lol

I could go either way.... Wouldn't mind something low key, but my BMs don't want to deal with it so its a moot point.

A Bachelorette party is just an outing with friends... why is it such a big deal? Don't most people go out with their friends already? Weather it is out to a spa, drinks, winery, dinner, weekend in Vegas it is just time with friends.....I hope you all still do see your friends e while busy wedding planning!

I won't be getting smashed, my MOH knows me better than that! Everyone's non-alcho ideas are great!

I don't really care to have one. Might do like a spa day with my Mom or something instead.

Umm...you can still party and not get so drunk you pass out. I'm not planning on over doing anything..not my style. I like to keep it classy A night on the town can be classy and not involve strippers or getting drunk by the way...

I'm not having a bachelorette party. My BMs are a very strange mix so it would be kind of awkward to all hang out. Plus, I am not the type to go out to party anyway.
