i Don't Support It! 👎

Lol I was just invited to one in December and am, so far, still going so we’ll see 😂🤣

I would because I support them (or one of them) individually and it's that person's life lesson to learn. Tough love I guess and of course depends on how much I don't support it. Like obviously someone that beats them is not happening on my watch!

It's not for you to judge who they are with. It will definitely be a learning experience for that person. I'm speaking from experience! That's how it was with my ex husband but LUCKILY it was a courthouse wedding so there were only a few friends and family members. I learned for myself but I'm glad they still showed up to support me and still supported me after the divorce instead of the whole "I told you so" bit.

I guess I'd still go, but I haven't been put in a situation like this yet! I still need to respect their decision

Yup. I’ve been a maid of honor and bridesmaid for weddings I didn’t support. But I will always be there for my friends even if I think they deserve to be treated better by a significant other.

I would go and support the person... they're probably gonna get married whether I approve or not, so I would want to be sure they could turn to me of they needed to.

Yea, they definitely told me why but I was so blinded for whatever stupid reason and made up excuses for him all the time. The whole "you don't know him like I do" bit and it definitely changed me. It's disturbing looking back on it but like I mentioned previously, it was just something I had to learn for myself. I can't be too mad anymore because I probably wouldn't be where I am today with the person that I was meant to be with.
