I don't want to be judged, but I went about 2 months ago to pick out my dress...I found one I was in LOVE with, but well, now I'm not. I have put a deposit down, but have not paid it off fully yet. I don't want to be judged, but I went about 2 months ago to pick out my dress...I found one I was in LOVE with, but well, now I'm not. I have put a deposit down, but have not paid it off fully yet. The lady of the dress venue told me that IF I wasn't satisfied with the dress I could come back and try something else on.

I HAVE NO IDEA WHY I'm being this hard headed, but when I got home and started looking at the pictures of me in it, I began to hate it more and more every day. The dress makes me feel huge and it's completely backless, therefore no bra, no corset, just the weird ass stick on things that make your breast sag. And it has sleeves which I'm not too keen on and the train is too long for where I'm getting married and how long of a wedding walk I have, plus it's ALL lace, which is perfect BUT I can't wear a sash or anything and it's uber plain.....GRRRR

I need opinions on whether or not I should go back and pick something that I really want instead?

I think that dress looks gorgeous on you. From the way you described it I was picturing this below-

But seriously you have to love your dress. If you don't go find another.

After owning a dress for 10 months, I bought a new one 38 days before my wedding. no regrets.

You look great in that dress but I can understand where you are coming from. I am not sure I would be comfortable in a dress without some sort of bra either. Try it on again and hopefully it will give you the same spark it did beforeSmiley smile

You look fabulous. I think FutureMrsR had some great ideas. Perhaps incorporating those ideas could help you fall in love with it all over again? Also, all the positive comments on here and how great you look can't hurt either. Smiley winking

If you're worried about support, see if you can have cups sewn into the dress. You look AMAZING in it.

Wowzers, it's stunning! I hope you either find the one that you love or that you fall back in love with this one! Good luck.... I am so scared that this is going to happen to me too!

The dress is beautiful! You look stunning in it. Try it on again and see how you feel. Don't get it if you don't love it, but give it another shot!

It is a beautiful dress. Have you thought about a strapless dress? When I first saw your picture I instantly said "strapless" I think you would look stunning.

If I were you, I'd go shopping again and try on other dresses. Especially in light of what your consultant said. You DO look absolutely gorgeous in the dress, but if it's not the one...

It's a beautiful dress, but you need to feel beautiful in it. I'd go looking, and DON'T take your MOH. Either go alone or take someone who will give you an honest opinion without being pushy.

I found my dress after purchase #4. I completely understand. Everyone thought I was crazy. I wasn't.

I like it, but it does look like curtains...Is it Allure? I feel like I was looking at that one online.

The biggest issue is that it doesn't make you feel pretty and if you don't feel pretty in it, don't wear it. Go back, take a look at other options. Keep it if you don't find anything better. Dump it if you do.

That dress is so similar to the one I wore. Allure 8764. So, of course I'm biased! Smiley smile

Honestly I think that dress is so beautiful. The back of it actually took my breath away a little bit. You look so beautiful! Maybe you can try the dress on again and see if you get the same feeling. If not try on some more. It is important that YOU feel beautiful. Seriously though...its stunning

That dress is stunning, and you look stunning in it. My guess is that you will fall in love with it all over again once you have a chance to try it on during the SECOND fitting. (First fittings are hard because you have to trust that the seamstress can make the dress fit and flatter you.)

Honestly, I think you'd be crazy to find another dress, but hey, it's your wedding... And strapless? Don't get me wrong- there are some gorgeous strapless dresses, but everyone and their sister wears strapless. It's refreshing to see something else.

I think you look amazing in that dress. Your dress is beautiful. I know you said you couldn't add a sash because of the lace but I've seen many lace dresses with a sash. Maybe that will enhance your dress so that you love it.

I would try it on again. Pictures don't do a dress justice you need to see yourself in it again. If you still FEEL bad in it then yes you should find another dress because it is important to feel beautiful in your dress for all of the money you are spending

Here are some lace dresses with a sash
