How have you planned to accommodate guests that did not respond to the RSVP but still show up? I have reached out to several people who I have not heard from and never received a reply back. We are having assigned seating. Do we add a few tables in the back? I even pre-stamped the RSVP card...

I even pre-stamped the RSVP card envelopes to make it convenient for people to just reply and toss it in the mailbox... but you know, that can be too difficult too.

That's such a good idea! I've never heard of anyone putting that. I wish I had thought of it!

That's where I got this from lol! We are having a formal reception so this would be totally inappropriate. I wish it were that simple!

There is a deadline for RSVP's for a reason. If you don't bother to respond to the email or the text with all info then you better not buy that flight because I'm not letting you in.

My DOC is asking them to leave. Some make think this is rude, but I think they are rude for showing up and not RSVP'ing. We are having a plated dinner and having assigned tables with enough seats for the guests who RSVP'ed. So there will not be enough space or food for guests who show up without the decency to RSVP.

My wedding planner/security team is checking names as they enter the ceremony so...if they do not respond they will not be accommodated.

I strictly put on our RSVP cards "RSVP by "enter date here" or bring a chair and a sandwich". We plan to hold to our word. So if someone doesn't RSVP and just shows up, they'll be escorted right out because, obviously, they aren't going to bring a chair and a sandwich.

It is easy to get frustrated with people! However, I still want to be kind to anyone who makes a point to come celebrate my wedding with me. We will have an extra table in the back for anyone who may show up. There will be a sign next to the assigned seating chart saying "if you did not RSVP ou will be sitting at table 14 and only have one meal option."

I’m not accommodating people that don’t respond. I’m going to reach out once after the taco deadline and if I can’t get a response then they’re not getting a seat/plate. Lol it’s not hard to RSVP so I’m not going to accommodate them and they can go somewhere else 🤷🏽‍♀️

Definitely make sure to text/call everyone who does not RSVPs. Ask once and if they don’t reply try another time saying unfortunately we have to mark you as a no
