Hey everyone!!

My and FH been searching everywhere for the right venue, but we just can't seem to find "the one"! I really like the industrial look and we both agree that we want something different than a typical hotel or country club wedding. We live in New Jersey, but are willing to travel to PA or NY. If anyone has any suggestions that would be great!! By the way we have a pretty small wedding only around 70 people which seems to also be a problem with a lot of venues.

Wowsers, CMC, you reminded me of Morristown (I love, love, love the Conservatory)

I forgot the Museum of Morris in Morristown, the Montclair Art Museum and the Paterson Museum!

We are at the Grain House all the time, and they have a couple of reception spaces; we've actually done 10 people there, and I love them there.

@Beatrice; The Magic Gardens is like OMG fabulous.

There is also a seriously industrial space in Passaic NJ called Factory 220. It's enormous, but they do have several spaces and a freestanding restaurant in the complex.

Check out The Foundry, it is located in Long Island City, Queens. The venue is gorgeous and I believe it has the industrial feel you are looking for. I attached a picture, and they have great reviews. There is also a bride on here who is getting married there soon.

Spring lake inn is meant for smaller weddings! Breakers in spring lake also has a perfect room on the water meant for smaller weddings. Most places I looked at around jersey shore mandated 125+ unless you do a Friday or Sunday then they will drop it to 100. Unless you are doing it last minute, venues haven't negotiated minimums.

I got married at Blue Moon Rising, located in Deep Creek Lake, MD and it was so amazing. Not sure if this would be up your ally or not, but it is perfect for a destination wedding that is intimate (I think they only allow up to 100 guests). You rent the entire resort so the majority of your guests would be able to stay on location in their tiny-house style cabins (they were actually feature don Tiny House Nation a couple years ago). It is super unique and they only host 10 weddings per year. Not industrial by any means though. It is an outdoor woodland type of wedding venue. http://bluemoonrising.org/woodland-wedding-venue/ Hope you find what you're looking for!
