They were not at all what I was planning. I went in intending to buy "R2-D2" blue, to match my nails. I tried on so many and nothing really felt comfortable or "spoke" to me. I was standing at a counter waiting for a size, and caught these beauties out of the corner of my eye. They were a bit expensive, but so very well made and impressively comfortable. (Jeffrey Campbell, if anyone is wondering!)

I do! So there are two similar (I have the Pelara), a 3.25" and a 4" heel.

I never thought I would find a pointed toe to be comfortable, but I was really surprised. The toe box is shaped really nicely and the inside is well padded.
