My wedding dress specifications seem to be completely far from the norm for a wedding dress unless you live in Utah.
Finding a modest sleeved wedding gown that is not see through lace is next to impossible and I cry every time I look at any available plus sized dresses by all the designers and online shops that you can imagine. I've done extensive research I'm just emotionally exhausted.
I found one dress I don't hate, and it's a tea length Hepburn dress I thought I would like the best from Unique Vintage.com. But when I put it on I didn't get that "this is the one!" feeling. I get the, oh, wow, i don't hate it!
Maybe I'm just not meant to be a typical bride. Maybe I just need to put on any white dress i'm comfortable in and forge forward. But it truly upsets me that there is maybe 1% of wedding dresses on earth that has a 3/4 length non lace sleeve to suck in my gross fat arms. And those dresses don't necessarily flatter my larger figure. I'm not blind, I know I'm fat but I know how to cover my flaws with my outfits and I dress damn cute for my figure. Wedding dress shopping is throwing me off my fashion game big time.
