Hyatt Credit Card???

With all of this HM talk, and a post about payment advice, does anybody have any advice on the Hyatt Credit Card? How hard or easy was it to get, and do you really get good rewards from it?

I wouldn't get it because it has a fee & you can only use your points for Hyatt hotels. I like getting cash back.

I have a Discover card...you get 5% cash back for certain categories every quarter (gas, groceries, restaurants etc.). I also have a Capital One that has 1% cash back on all purchases & 2% cash back unlimited on gas & groceries. I have a Pentagon Federal credit card that gives 5% cash back on all gas purchases.

We don't have a Hyatt since we don't stay at Hyatts very often. We do have the Hilton AMEX card and love it! It's free and has lots of rewards for members. If you spend $20,000 per yr you get automatic upgrade to Gold status which has a lot of perks when staying at a Hilton brand hotel.
