Husband and Wife vs. Happily Married??

Terri, on February 20, 2020 at 3:05 PM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 4

We are eloping, the ceremony will be just the 2 of us...3rd marriage for both of us (yes third time is a charm)...not sure I want the formal I now pronounce you Husband and Wife? or I now pronounce you Happily Married?

Happily Married sounds fun and not so formal...but I also want to hear husband and wife for the first time??

Thoughts?

How about "I now pronounce you happily married. It's my pleasure to introduce you for the first time as husband and wife."
