Have one of your BM or FH have a sign so when you're getting overheated you can go outside and take a breather. Even getting help lifting the skirt a few times in private will get air down there. I recommend shorts for the chaffing and if you do a hoop skirt something longer just in case. Hoops also help with getting air circulation

I bought some of the shorts @bemyguest mentioned as well (in fact I'm wearing them right now) and I don't know how I ever lived without them. I've only had them since spring but I wear them under skirts/dresses practically every day now. They look like bike shorts made of pantyhose and aren't super tight like shapewear.

Don't think you need to size up either. They are super stretchy and not tight. I think both mine are mediums, I'm a size 8/10, and they fit perfectly.

Baby powder. My seamstress recommended I powder myself all over before getting dressed. I don't ever use powder, so I forgot, but it will create a barrier between you & the dress
