How to handle +1 request for brand new boyfriend

FH is very close to his cousins...one cousin just entered a relationship TODAY and wants a +1. How do I say no nicely without upsetting her? She's very sensitive but these relationships don't last long. I'm not great at tactful language. I know "no" is a complete sentence, but I don't want her to...

She's very sensitive but these relationships don't last long. I'm not great at tactful language. I know "no" is a complete sentence, but I don't want her to hate me. (I also don't want random people I don't know and won't see again at my wedding when I already had to make difficult decisions and cut people I know and like.) You guys are so good at words. Help! (Invitations have already gone out!)

I think it all depends on how you are in space / budget and if you could accommodate the date. I provided plus ones to BP, some used them others didn't, but I really dont agree that all single people get plus ones. I made 2 adjustments, one was a BM that RSVPs her only, but then she started a relationship, so obviously i added him. Another was a cousin who we believed to be divorced from her daughter's father, but apparently they are kind of together kind of not and since we knoe him, he was added, but at this point, i really wouldnt accommodate anybody else.

@Keisha She was very receptive. She loves me and cares for me and she understood.

Again, you give all your guests a plus one. Great! Does it have to be the status quo, no. In my opinion. I've gone to a wedding by myself and had a good time. Depends on the people. It's not that serious

You've already sent out invites, so you don't have to include him.

I really don't think you have to. Especially if your invites went out already. I invited both people of the couple If they lived together. If they do not or just started dating, it is absolutely not necessary for you to include the date. If they're grown ups they'll understand.

If she's in a relationship just give a plus one. That's my opinion.

@Kelly K, I feel like that's really rude. You are judging people's relationships by how long they've been together. When do you decide that as your wedding is over a year away? How would you feel if someone told you your FH couldn't come somewhere but you guys have been together 6 months? That's not fair. Or good etiquette.

I would add the boyfriend. When I first saw the title of this discussion I thought you were in a bind because you had already given the caterer the final numbers. Then I read the details and saw your wedding date. You'll have declines and no shows.
