How to decorate pergola

FutureMrsB, on February 3, 2018 at 4:49 PM Posted in Wedding Ceremony 0 8

My wedding venue has a beautiful pergola to get married under however I'm not sure how to decorate or if I should do anything at all. It is exremely large and I am afraid anything I do will look small in compairison or cost a ton!

Any ideas or suggestions?

Depending on the time of the wedding, maybe flowers across the front or lights?

You could maybe do some kind of sprays in the middle to frame you & your FS & officiant. The bridal party would stand on the other side. I’d maybe do garlands across the front depending on price. Your florist would be able to repurpose them into your reception too. If you do draping I’d do straight panels along the back since it looks too long to put side columns in the front

What about some tulle draping or floral garlands in you wedding colors. Also ask your venue if they have pics from previous weddings for inspiration, they may even offer decorating packages. One place I looked at charge 150 bucks to do some twinkle lights and tulle, with flowers and some lighting on the day of.

How about some simple draping and flowers in the corner or center?

There’s a pergola at my venue and the quote from my florist was around $750.00. The price definitely depends on location. I decided just to leave the pergola as is but you can get fabric from Michael’s and do one draping like some PPs suggested.
