How to Decorate Arch?

Our arch is rectangular but doing a big floral bouquet at the top left and middle right side diagonal to give it a little “extra.”

Wow that is a lot of arch to cover! Maybe draping it with tulle or some other fabric, with just 2 or 3 arch arrangements at either side? Could also try doing just greenery garland, no flowers.

You can get sheer fabric from the clearance bins at Walmart and Joann. Or go to fiftyflowers.com and get greenery that can be recycled as reception decor.

I do like the suggestions of draping some of the arch in fabric.

I don't know if you are religious or not, but a religious symbol, wreath, or spray could also work in the middle.

If you are getting married at night, little lights could also work!

They sell green faux garlands to wrap banisters and railings at Christmas time. Depending on how close you are to the arch and what else you use to decorate, that could provide a good base color/material.

Gorgeous! Especially with the mountains in the background. Off topic question -- how does the bride get up there? Do you have to go to one side?


Our arch was not as big as yours, but we used tulle and foam bricks, zip ties and flowers to decorate. I'll attach a picture. We used 4 foam bricks.

Also, we got our flowers from samsclub.com. You can definitely get a ton of real greenery at a decent price to help cover your arch.
