Can't decide on how I want my dress bustled. I don't want it to get stepped on at the reception but I also don't want it to look frumpy and lazily gathered. It is a Wilderly Marigold, this picture isn't the best!

The seamstress in alterations will have some really good ideas on how to make the bustle look pretty. I would ask her to show you different ways to do it

Here's a before and after of my bustle! I absolutely love it. It has 11 points across, with one underneath them all. I hope it helps you out

I don't have a picture yet, but I had an Austrian bustle on my dress. I don't know anything about dresses, trains, and bustles, but it might be something you could have done. I had a main button, and then tied underneath with ribbons for each bustle point. It didn't take long to bustle at all, either. 15 bustle points total but my dress was satin and that's a heavy fabric.

I felt the exact same way, my dress has a long beautiful train and I had mixed feelings about a bustle but when you go to alterations they will give you different options to choose from. I ended up loving how it looked bustled too!

I ended up going with this look. My seamstress said that it would look better with me and my dress. I haven't seen it yet so fingers crossed!!
