How to ask for bachelorette budget?

Patty, on November 9, 2019 at 9:30 PM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 7
I’m MOH, should I be asking the bridal party individually what their budget is for the bachelorette party or in a group text? ( The bride wants me to plan the bachelorette )

I would ask each person individually!

I would definitely ask individually so you don’t put anyone in a spot where they feel like they can’t be honest.

Definitely ask them individually. A group message would be extremely uncomfortable for those with a lesser budget.

Individually. And so kind and wise of you to ask everyone first!

Agree with PP, would ask separately. Would also ask budget in terms of days, money and locatin.

Ask individually - that way no one feels pressure to say yes to something or match someone else's budget.

I think my MOH sent out a group text saying something like "I'm looking for a house rental to be around $100 a person for 2 nights, $20 a person for a massage gift for the bride, $10 a person for the drag show, then food & drinks for yourselves (so maybe another $200). Let me know if that works!" Some people said that was the max they could spend, so she planned free things like hiking & hanging out by the pool to help with budgets.
