How stressful is the last 2-3 months?

Hi everyone, Just wondering how stressful (for those of us who get stressed easily) is the last 2-3 months before the wedding? Hi everyone,

Just wondering how stressful (for those of us who get stressed easily) is the last 2-3 months before the wedding? Our current date idea (June 23rd 2018) is 3 weeks after my licensing exams and graduation, and about 2 months after all of my final exams. School is enough stress for me, and I am wondering if I will be able to avoid lots of wedding stuff in that time period (April-beginning of June). I should have time before exams and I have 3 weeks of no school or work before the wedding. We would postpone the wedding to later, but I can't really look for a job until after the wedding (Hi yes hire me a new grad pharmacist but I need 2 weeks vacation in a month) and I don't want to wait that long.

Sorry, this kind of turned into a vent. Just looking for opinions!

I think I did about 90% of my wedding planning during my rotations lol. Ultimately, I underestimated how many little things I had to do leading up to the wedding. Meeting with the photographer, florist, and DJ to go over last details, dress fittings, suit fittings, meeting with the caterer... Just a lot of extra appointments that got squished into the last month and a half of planning.

I'm 3 days out. I'd say the last month is the most stressful. As time goes on, the details you have to think about start to get smaller and smaller. Make every decision you can in advance to prevent how overwhelming it can seem.

I think with the 3 weeks I have post-exam, pre-wedding will help with little details that I can finalize. Because I will not have any other thing to do at all except wedding. And probably celebrate that I am done school haha. It's hard because I don't know any exam or rotation schedules and I won't until I am deep into planning. Gotta just go with it and hope for the best

Yeah I'm 3.5 weeks out and I'm pretty fucking stressed. I really wasn't that bad until August hit. Not even doing any DIY or anything, I'm just losing my mind over logistics and little things

We picked our date exactly because I didn't want to have a wedding or honeymoon while I was in grad school. We originally were gonna do September but moved it to June, but after my kids extra curriculars end. We have pretty much all our vendors booked already over the summer so we will have just final meetings right before the wedding, and FH will be doing half of them. My family and FH think I'm nuts for planning so much so soon, but I know myself and how easily I get stressed out.

I think it's all relative. I'm 58 days out, starting to realize how many little details still need to be nailed down but I'm not exactly freaking out. Depends on how you handle stress I guess. My semester isn't over until September 16 but I'm getting ahead on some assignments so I have more time to do wedding related stuff when FH is home.

I'm 3 days out (at midnight). I also don't drink on Tuesdays- usually.

If I wasn't DIY-ing lots of stuff (which I enjoy so I did it, please do not do this to save money if you aren't crafty. It won't save you much if you don't already have the supplies) then I would be way less stressed. I actually felt the last couple months were less stressful than the first few. Mostly just finalizing details now and making payments. And of course fun parties and showers, if to are lucky enough to have people throw them for you!

For me 2-3 months out was not too bad. The biggest thing was mailing the invitations and then receiving the responses but that went surprisingly smooth. The last month was probably the craziest time for me but by that point I developed an "I don't care at this point as long as its done" attitude. I would just get as many details nailed down as soon as you can. I was also able to utilize my mom (who offered her assistance) to help with several tasks so that helped my stress level. So don't be afraid to take offers of help!

@Ang but we are almost there. That's exciting. I have ordered so much little shit from etsy... Every day a new package arrives. FH has stopped asking.
