I think if its a hard candy, you can probably buy it in July-ish. If its a sofy candy or chocolate, I think the closer to the day is better since it may go stale and get hard. No one like a stale hershey bar or hard as a rock gummy bear Smiley smile

I bought mine a month ago. Kept it all in their original packaging that is air tight. Im not worried at all about it going bad... it's candy after all.

I've been looking at expiration dates for candy because we are also an early august wedding.. and I think you can start buying now.. I've read online that it's okay at even 6 months out... and any of the candy (even chocolate) that I've looked at has an expiration date of no earlier than November! I'm hoping to be purchasing in the next month or so because I know its going to be expensive and I want to be prepared for that! lol

snf as far as it going bad, it should be ok. just make sure it dont get hot and melt. that can be bad.

If you google the type of candy you're planning on you should be able to find a shelf life on most of it. I purchased my candy pretty early and I think it will all be fine because the majority of it is wrapped.

Hello Hun congratulations me too! This might seem crazy but, I brought all my hard candy already. And my chocolates are being delivered by next week. I was able to buy in bulk and get all the varieties I wanted. Also, I didn’t want to order online during the summer as I am reading many peoples can’t and chocolates melted.
