How should i tell people to sign our nontraditional "guest book"?

I had a wall hanging too and just made a sign that said “Please sign our guest board” and had a small tin with markers next to it. People knew what to do.

I agree about making it simple by keeping it literal. We had a guest tree sketch and just said "please sign a branch on our guest tree."

If you didnt want to do up a sign too just be sure to have a few markers near it and task somebody (parents, wedding party, etc.) To sign the board first. People will get the hint when they see somebody's signed it!

Have you got an MC or someone who could announce it

I asked a friend to be my guest book attendant. She will be in charge of "Vanna White-ing" the guest book, and passing out "stuff for guests to throw at us" [confetti] after the ceremony.
At the reception, I feel like enough people will have signed, so anyone who comes in for the reception only will get the hint.

I had a bridesmaid sit at the sign in table but I also had a sign.
Just leave it literal and say please sign guest book

I would just have a sign that says "guest signatures" and have pens out. Have one of your wedding party members or a few, or parents, sign it early so people see their signatures and get the hint!

View Quoted Comment Thank you. I actually painted a small sign over the weekend that says "Please sign our guest board" and will have bridal party sign it prior to the wedding. Plus ill leave the pens out nearby in a small bucket. Hopefully everyone will get the idea. 😁

You can do a little sign with the same text style and coloring that says “sign our unique guest book” or something about “sign our guest book placed right here so that we can always keep you near”
