How much will do spend on your wedding when all is said & done?

My fiancé is a go with the flow kind of guy & has been cool with everything I’ve wanted to choose for the wedding but lately he’s been commenting about how things are adding up.
Me on the other hand, I am amazed at the great pricing I’m able to secure for us and that were able to have such top notch vendors, venue, 125 guests with sit down dinner, hor d’oeuvres, cocktail hour, my dream dress & his tux all for under $15k! I think he just has no clue the cost of things cuz he’s not the one wheeling & dealing & researching.

Any other brides having this experience with their man? If you want to share your average total cost & experiences & pics please do!

Same!!! I definitely have moments of excitement and feeling really positive, but for the most part it's anxiety. I want the day to come and go flawlessly so I can think about other things again!

We set a budget for 6-8k. We are roughly 3 months out and all signs point toward a grand total of 4.5k for the full shabang. We are having an intimate wedding of 40 ish guests.

We are getting married in Hawaii and for a beach ceremony(including and ceremony, minister, champagne) , beach permit, 3-4 hours of the photography, videographery, cake, and a dinner cruise (food, cocktails, hula dancing and fire twirlers and music) and flowers, and wedding attire everything...) will be less than $4,000.

I cannot break myself to pay several thousands of dollars for a wedding. Mind you, our combined income is six figures.

My FH and I agreed on a 15k budget but then our guest list got hiked up from 85 to 120 😩😮 so now our budget is 17k.y parents are giving us 10k and he is putting in 5 and myself 2. His parents paid for the DJ and rehearsal dinner so we didn’t add those to our budget. So far we are WITHIN a 16k budget and we have florist, venue, cake, caterer, dress, centerpieces, BP gifts, photographer, and officiant. We expect to spend about $400 on stationary, $250 on rings (we agreed on simple bands for now and to get nicer ones for our 5 year anniversary), his tux shouldn’t be more than $400, my ideal HMU place does EVERYTHING for $320- just have to book it. And the hotel has a free shuttle. Anything i’m Missing?

Our wedding will end up costing right around $55,000. We are in Denver, inviting 220 people. My fiance (and me for that matter) were both surprised with costs, we originally hoped to spend 30k.

We originally hoped to spend around $30k, now we're at $45k and will probably end up closer to $50k (ugh). This will be for 100-120 people for a winery wedding in the SF Bay Area and our Australia honeymoon is included in that total, so it's not as outrageous as it seems. All of the little costs add up so quickly though and the gratuity/sales tax on our venue and catering are killers here!

Here is the link to my BAM with a full budget breakdown and lots of pictures! We spent about $27,000 on a 118 person wedding. We are in a suburb of Kansas City.

Honestly, everything regarding weddings is expensive. We tried having our wedding on a Friday night to save money but that didn’t work. I wanted to do my flowers but was advised not too. I will not be in the same state where the wedding is until the week before. There was a lot of bickering in the beginning but it’s starts to slow down. With 6 months left, I am slowly purchasing the details. Planning a wedding is stressful so just make sure you are taking care of yourself.

My fiancé said he’d start at $50,000 and likely go up from there. Believe it or not, it’s been hard to stay in that range. We are thinking it may be $75,000+.
