How much was your open bar?

Out of curiosity, how much did your open bar come to and how many guests did you serve? I'm trying to come up with a ballpark of potentially 110 guests. We have a lot of out of towners, so I don't expect nearly all to show but of course planning on it.

My venue only offers consumption. Cocktails are $12 a piece. I'm putting $5,000 towards the tab to start and praying it lasts. We are providing our own wine and paying almost $3,000 in corkage fees. I hate my venue. HaHa! We are anticipating about 100 adults.

@emily s @jenny... very rural Iowa haha. Our venue price in itself is only $500 and holds 500 people. It's not expensive at all when you don't live close to any major cities lol.

We had a premium open bar as part of our catering package. It was $75-80 pp depending on their meal choice and $20 of that was for the bar. In MD we have 9% alcohol tax for the bar and 6% sales tax tacked on to that.

Wow I am really envious of these prices! Our venue is $55 pp base price for beer wine and liquor. We are likely doing to go by consumption since we are having a small wedding.

We are doing a beer/wine open bar for 110, and it is $15 per person for 5 hours! There are 6 options for wine and 10 options for beer. I think we got a steal! (Southern California).

We have to provide our own stuff plus hire professional bartenders. Not including the bartenders or ABC event license, we are expecting around $4K. Includes top shelf liquor, local wine, and beer. For 200 guests. ETA: spelling

Ours is consumption based pricing. Our quote was for 100 guests but we are down to about 80. The bartender fees for supplies, license and labor was $450. Wine and beer estimates are at good prices- $9/bottle average for wine and $2 each bottle of beer. The total estimate was about $1200. Of course that could be more or less based on the actual amount used.

ETA: I'm in the Midwest and our bar tending service is not part of the venue and they own a liquor store so beer and wine pricing is as cheap as it gets.

We are having just beer and wine my venue only allows this so 170 people 600 on wine and about 100 for the beer FH is making 3 different kegs of beer Gotta love that !! Not a lot of drinkers in our 170 , so should be enough + having a lot of other options non alcohol! Oh we hired 2 bartenders cost 200.00 so about 1000.00

Open bar in our area being at like $46 per person for 8 hours basic rail.

Our venue only does Consumption bar. Wine per bottle starts at $42/bottle and Drinks are $7 and Beer is $7. Soda is $4 each Smiley sad

I think our total beverage bill will be around $5k but we budgeted $6k on the safe side.

This is for 75 Adults and 9 Children

Our venue allows us to bring in our own alcohol. They provide the bar set up, bartenders and mixers for $900. The alcohol and additional mixers we wanted came out to a little over $2K. We'll have about 110 people.
