So my wedding isn’t until next April, but I like to be super prepared. Are any of you taking time off work before your wedding, or just working through? I was thinking about taking the week of my wedding off so I could deal with any last minute planning. I’m also looking for a new job currently so...

I was thinking about taking the week of my wedding off so I could deal with any last minute planning. I’m also looking for a new job currently so this has been kinda stressful as well. If you guys have any tips on job hunting and wedding planning I’ll gladly hear them out!

I don't know about taking an entire week off, but I'll probably be taking off 2 days just to go to the spa and make sure any finishing touches are taken care of! Good luck with your new job search Smiley smile

I'm getting married next April as well!

On a Friday, so my plan was to take the Wednesday and Thursday before off, as well as that Friday (obviously lol). Maybe I'm underestimating right now but I don't think I'll need a whole week/weeks to deal with last minute stuff. I don't really want to take that much time off either, because we are leaving for our honeymoon that Saturday morning and will be gone for a week on our cruise. A week and a half total for before and after the wedding is good for me.

I'm taking Thursday and Friday before our Saturday wedding. We are getting married in our hometown and hour away so I want to make sure I have everything hauled over. Our home town is also a small small town so there's no 'running to Wal-Mart' if we forget something. We can also start decorating Friday at 1 o'clock and FHs parents are hosting a 5 o'clock reversal dinner so I will definitely need all of Friday!
