How much should Mua cost??

I got quoted $50, but I live in a small town so idk if that’s the average. 😐

Mine is going to be $40, but I also live in a small town. I’ve seen on this site before that $150 seems fairly average in cities.

Is a trial and touch up kit included in that quote? If trial is separate cost that seems quite high, but otherwise that’s what it is around me.

I paid $125 for makeup so that seems pretty average.

The price depends on the artist's experience, the area, and the type of makeup being done. I've seen make-up as low as $30 and as high as $200. My makeup is costing $90.

I’d say that’s pretty average depending on location. I’m paying $580 but that includes my hair/makeup and a trial as well as hair/makeup for my MOH and that’s in Vegas so I expected it to be higher

That seems high to me. My MUA is coming to my hotel room and charging $170 for hair and makeup. Average around me is under $100 for makeup from what I can tell.

Makeup is 100$ for the bride with a trial and 80$ for the party with full makeup and airbrush as well as fake eyelashes, that seems to be the going rate around here.

Depends on a few factors. If you’re in/near a more metropolitan area, you’ll pay more. Also, most MUAs charge based on their experience. I’m in NJ, my wedding is a peak season Saturday, and my MUA is experienced in special event and red carpet makeup, so your pricing sounds perfectly normal to me. If he/she were in school for artistry or newly establishing themselves, I would expect a lower price.

My HMU is $150 for hair and $150 for makeup the day of my wedding (this includes her traveling to my venue). For my bridesmaids, it's $85 each for hair and makeup.

I’m getting married in Orlando and bridal hair&makeup is 220 - this include fake lashes.

For the bridal party, it’s $150, plus $20 if they want fake lashes and $15 if they want airbrush. Most girls are just doing the standard $150.

I live around the San Francisco area and I’ve seen MUA average between $150 to $300 for brides, but it’s also not impossible to find a decent MUA for less than $150~

$150 is a little high for makeup only.
