How much is too much for flowers?

Hi everyone! I'm getting married in June and I've just started looking around for a florist. I want real flowers and I'm not sure how much money everything should cost? I was quoted $946.86 and that's for my bouquet, 7 bridesmaids bouquets, 14 boutonnieres, 4 corsages, the centerpieces, and the...
Hi everyone! I'm getting married in June and I've just started looking around for a florist. I want real flowers and I'm not sure how much money everything should cost? I was quoted $946.86 and that's for my bouquet, 7 bridesmaids bouquets, 14 boutonnieres, 4 corsages, the centerpieces, and the ceremony flowers which includes flowers on a gazebo. The price also includes set up and delivery the day of the wedding. Is this a good deal or should I keep looking?

That price sounds amazing! I was quoted anywhere from $2,200 to $3,600! Luckily I was able to find a local wholesale florist so I will be getting all my flowers for $1,000.

Thanks everyone! I think I'm going to go with her. She's local and is offering 40% right now so that's part of the reason I'm getting such a good deal. I've been stressing bad about flowers and you all have helped calm my nerves😊

Personally anything over $300 is too much 😂 We are paying for everything ourselves and are on a budget. We've been able to get an amazing venue, awesome food, a decent bar, etc., in our budget but the flower and decor budget has vanished lol. I won't have a bouquet because both my parents are walking me down the aisle and I think it would be cluttered trying to carry a bouquet, too. I found a wholesale flower market in my city that let's you buy at the same prices florists do. My 4 bridesmaid's bouquets are $27 each. 4 boutoniers $5 each. Flower petals for flower girls and decor $20. We will have two vases on the Mr and Mrs table that we can just plop two bridesmaid's bouquets in to. Our venue has so much character on it's own I don't want to over do it with flowers.

I think that is a VERY good price! With what it includes, and set up and delivery. I would have been over the moon if I got that kind of deal. Congratulations, and good luck with the rest of your planning !

That is an excellent deal, and you should grab it immediately!!!

I don't know where you're from, but here in CA, for about half that amount of flowers, I was quoted more than double the price! Which is why I've decided to go non-floral for most of my decor. Just a few silk flower bouquets/bouts and that's it.

I am assuming you live in a state where these services are a little bit more economical. In the greater Seattle area flowers range on the low end of $1,000 all the way up to $5,000 for the average final cost...

Flowers should be 8%-12% of your budget, if it is over that then I would say keep looking but that honestly sounds like a steal!

    Happy for you! ☺️

That is insanely cheap! For my bouquet, my mom’s corsage, 3 bridesmaid bouquets, 4 boutonnieres, and 14 centerpieces the price was 5k.

Honestly that sounds like an amazing deal! I am having a big bouquet myself, but no bridesmaids, several boutonnieres, a decked out arch, and reception decorations and my quote is just under 4k & I was honestly expecting it to be more

That’s a great price! I paid about $3000 for less than that. Just make sure you check the florist work if you like what they do because that’s always very important.

Yes, we paid a lot more than that. I think that price is great as long as they have good reviews.
