So I went to rkbridal and I said yes to a dress very fitted to my body and it shows off my hourglass figure the price of the dress came out to 1296 but the alterations would cost 700 is that a lot or is the price right for that ?

I have very little knowledge for this, but a lady at davids bridal said the alteraltions to my dress would be about $80 for sizing it down (it wasnt made in my size) and lifting it. Unless they're redoing the entire dress, $700 sounds like too much.

My seamstress (not from a bridal boutique) is charging me $225 for hemming, taking in in some places and cleaning my dress. She did a LOT of work as I purchased it used and the person before me was tiny, so she has to let all the fabric back out, get me fitted and then retake the material. She's been amazing so far!
