We have a small WP, but a large guest list - 21 guests tables, including our sweetheart table. We have two estimates for flowers so far, from very reputable vendors. Their styles are a little different, one company is smaller, the other much more established. But their estimates are like night and day. Like, one estimate is more than twice the other. Yikes! I told FH a while back that I could forgo centerpieces, since that can add up really quickly. I'd be content with a few candles and petals. He surprised me by saying that he thought the tables would look "boring" lol! We haven't decided what to do yet. So out of curiosity, how much did you end up spending on flowers?

We are doing pink roses, white hydrangeas, & silver branches (for tall pieces).

    One Milllliiiioooonn dollars

JK - take Centerpiece up on her offer to provide a general range of prices based on what you are thinking of putting together. Also, floral selection, time of year and location makes a big difference on prices. e.g. Texas is much cheaper than the north east.

$550 for delphiniums, gerber daisies, carnations, hydrangeas, roses, and filler flowers

    1 bridal bouquet

    4 bridesmaids bouquets

    5 corsages

    9 bouts

    2 altar arrangements

It would be $350 if we only did wearable flowers (i.e., corsages, bouts, and bouquets). We're getting our flowers through Publix event planning.

    About $110 for

1 large hydrangea bridal bouquet ($16)

2 medium size bridesmaid hydrangea bouquets ($8 each)

    16 hydrangea centerpieces

I am getting them from my local grocery store (Fred Meyer's, I think it's Kroger everywhere else). I'm purchasing the flowers there bringing in my own vases (they have tons of cute options at the dollar tree) and the florist is putting them together for 1.6% ($1.76). I am thinking of adding some large arrangements for the ceremony area since it is way less than I budgeted for.

I just got my quote from Kroger (Grocery store) and it is $406.78 tax for Bridal bouquet, toss bouquet, 7 corsages 7boutoineers (BP and parents), and 2 memory bouquets for grandparents. I thought about going through bunchesdirect.com, but then the idea of just being able to pick them up all ready to go (not dealing with shipping and storing in my fridge) the day of was appealing.

Spray roses, pink (regular?) roses, hydrangeas, and carnations.

@frugal_gator I haven't picked a florist yet, but I was considering using Publix event planning. How was your experience with them?

I went to 5 florist and was quoted between $5500 - $8000. I went with the lower one, got more flowers, was not charged for reception setup (which ranged from 700-1200). I had 10 tall, 10 medium and 10 short, large bridal party, lots of coursages (moms, gmas, sister, sis in laws). We did reuse the pew decor on the head table. I'm including pics, my florist had also done several family weddings (3 cousins and my god sister's).

@MrsOberhauser2Be, their products are good, but logistically it's a little harder to deal with them because they're a grocery store. Instead of working everyday like a regular florist would, the Publix florist at my store isn't in on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, so I have to make sure to send my emails Thursday through Monday. The few times I emailed on a day she wasn't there, I got a response from the cake people saying she would reply on Thursday. Unfortunately, because the email was already replied to, they forgot. Growing pains, I guess. Their prices are awesome though! Side note: We are also doing our cake through Publix, and they respond any day of the week.

    Just under $300 from Costco.

We bought two boxes of baby's breath and one box of white roses.

It was enough for 4 bouquets, 8 bouts, 12 centerpieces, and 12 aisle decorations.

We spent about $3600 for ours (my bouquet, 4 bridesmaids, 3 corsages, 8 bouts, ceremony decor, 10 centerpieces and other misc. reception decor, AND rehearsal dinner flowers). Don't have pics of everything still, but here's our bouquets and the rehearsal decor)

Very pretty, ladies! You all have gorgeous flowers! I hope that ours - whatever we decide on - turn out as well! It's so interesting to see all the different color choices and arrangements. Smiley smile I think FH and I will have to rethink what we'd like for the reception, which is TOTALLY okay! But it's helpful to know what people got for what they paid. Bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages really don't make a dent in our estimate. The centerpieces are the root of the sticker shock. But when you break it down, I mean, totally get it. 21 tables is a lot to decorate.

$69.98 from Sam's Club bulk flower order eucalyptus and seasonal wild flower filler and (four) dozen $8 roses, mix of spray roses and regular sized roses) from fry's markeplace (grocery). The rest was from my garden - but those could totally be purchased at home depot or lowe's in the $4 six packs and dollar store pots or ikea pots. I used candle holders w/ a plastic clear up and filled that w/ my propagated flowers for my bridal party. Here is when I added my embellishments. I hope I get some photos of the actual way there turned out - they were very pretty! I had a lot of feather elements. The guys had feather and eucalyptus boutonnieres while DH had that but with added rose and color specific feathers.

4 planted bouquets for bridal party

    9 boutonnieres

my bouquet and half of my flower crown

    25 vases

and I still had a ton left over - a ton.

About $1000 for my bouquet, 3 corsages, 2 bouts, 2 large centerpieces, 4 small centerpieces, fresh flowers for the cake, and delivery.

Definitely more than I originally planned to spend, but our florist was a breeze to work with and I'm really happy with how all the florals came out.
