How much did you spend on florals from a florist shop?

Hi I’m a little shocked at my florist contract/proposal for my flowers. I think I’m making peace with lol. I guess I’m just trying to make myself feel better to see what others’s floral needs cost, from their florists. Thanks in advance!

Same! We just got our proposal back and will deff be negotiating a lower price lol. But still going to go for it, because it’s important to us!

I've seen varrying price ranges for florals. I believe it's something that greatly depends on the type of flowers you want, what season you're wedding is in, and your location. My FBIL and his wife spent over $4k on their florals/greenery 😬

I just told the florist I was interested in what my budget was $1k. I gave her a list of all that I was thinking of having deorated/made, and what type of flowers I was really interested in. The price came out to be over budget, but she was awesome and worked with me on bringing it down.

Things we eliminated to get under budget: Groom is the only one wearing boutonniere, moms and gmoms are only carrying a single flower (no bouquet), we aren't having a fb or rb so no flower petals are needed. We're using bm's bouquets to place in a vase on guestbook/gifts/random tables for some extra decor and to get more use out of them.

I think it also helps that our look is very minimal. mostly greenery, white/cream florals, nothing too crazy

I'm in MD and my florist is charging $675 for my bouquet, 3 bridesmaids bouquets, 8 boutonnieres, and 4 corsages. I couldn't bring myself to spend tons of money on floral centerpieces, so I bough bud vases from craft stores and will order real flowers from fiftyflowers.com for $200ish and maybe some greenery garlands from Costco for $100 per 4-pack.

We paid about $500 in the Orlando, Fl area. Bride bouquet, two bridesmaids bouquets, two flower girl bouquets, boutonnière, simple centerpieces for four tables, flowers for cake, and travel fee.

I was shocked too but I feel we are getting a good deal!! We are looking at $1900-$2400. The cost will be dependent on if we pick 2 or 3 mini floral arrangements to go with our candles at our guests tables. This quote also includes, my bouquet, MOH bouquet, 6 boutonnières, 2 corsages, 2 baskets and flower petals for flower girls, one bunch of petals for our foyer table & flowers for our cake. I’m a big fan of real flowers so I wanted some included in our decor which is why we opted for candles with mini arrangements to save on costs and it’s not a centerpiece I’ve ever seen in person before so I think it’s a little unique.
