How much booze to buy?!

I would go through your list and average how much wine and/or beer you think they’d drink. That’s what my FH and I did. There is some good alcohol calculators out there but when we did it, it told us we would need 105 bottles of wine for 100 guests. But I know my 86 year old grandma isn’t going to drink, my underage cousins aren’t going to drink.. you know your guests better than anyone. It’s worth the time to sit down and go one by one.


Once you get the final number, I would add a few extra bottles just to be sure

Estimating the amount of alcohol you need to purchase can always be a little tricky!

One important thing to take into consideration is your guests and whether or not they are big drinkers. I often see community members recommending drink calculators to help estimate how much you will need.
A great tip is to buy some extra alcohol from a store that will accept returns on any open items! This could be your backup reserve in case you need more on the day!
