@Rusty sorry this thread got away from me! We have 4 days in Tokyo where we're doing a lot of tours and sightseeing (Tokyo Bay and Akihabarah just naming a few spots), and a day trip to Fox Village which I am ecstatic about. Then we're staying 1 night in Tsumago where we're staying at a traditional ryokan. Then onto Kyoto for temple sightseeing and a Geisha tour. Then finishing up the trip at a spa resort in Hakone near Mt.Fuji. The rooms have private onsens which overlook the mountain. I cannot wait!!
One night hotel stay in KY (on the way to honeymoon destination), then 1 week at a cabin in Gatlinburg, TN. We will be driving there and back. We budgeted $3500-$4000.
All said and done, our trip to Maui, 8 nights, cost a total of $6,500. The hotel and car were booked through Costco travel, $2400. Flights including luggage were $1900. Excursions were $600 and the rest was pretty much food and randomness. But we really only ate a couple of lunches and one dinner that wasn't at a 4-5 Star restaurant. We could have cut our cost quite a bit there.
Flights and 7 night stay at an all adult resort on the beach in Aruba was 3800 and then setting aside another 1000 for food and 500 for excursions. so all in all we are saving up 5500. I'm thinking it'll be a little less than that since we don't drink alcohol, but I would rather over budget then under budget.
Our cruise to Alaska is $6,000 with excursions. We paid for our flight and hotel to Seattle off of my amex points so that didn't cost us anything but it would have added another $2k if we had to pay out of pocket
We are spending 5500 for a 7 day Western Caribbean cruise. We got a suite with all the stops.. specialty dining, drink package, excursions, etc. My FH LOVES cruising and they had one leaving the day after the wedding. It has been easy to plan too since everything is in one place.
We did 9 days in Italy - Rome, Venice and Florence for about $2,900. That doesn't include souvenirs or some of the nights out we had, but that includes airfare, hotels and a bunch of tours. Thanks, Groupon!
We spent $5000, not including souvenirs. We flew to Dublin, spent a week in Ireland (three bus tours), flew to London, spent three days there (one bus tour), then flew home from Heathrow.
