I knew when I tried on the first dress that it was my dress but the stylist and my ladies (mom, bridesmaid, and MOH) insisted on me trying at least two more.

I tried on over 20 wedding dresses. None of them looked good on my body. I'm petite with DDD bust. I finally decided on a dress but its not a wedding gown.

View Quoted Comment I immediately knew it was the dress I wanted to marry my FH in. I felt beautiful in it and it complemented my bust and waist. Plus it was super affordable and I can wear it over and over again after the wedding.

Im New to this, when did you start looking?

I tried on 7 at the first place, 8 at the second and 10 at the third lol. The very last dress I tried on ended up being "the one"...and that was found on a return trip to the third place. I'm so excited to wear it!!

I went to two shops and only liked 2 of the 20 dresses I tried on. I kept my options open and ended up going with a dress I never thought I would wear!

I tried on about 10-15 in store. I tried on about 3 different silhouettes. I had bought a sheath dress in store and about a week or so later, I had the most dress regret ever and I'm glad I was offered the opportunity to cancel my order. I ended up buying a 2017 Demetrios fit & flare dress off a resale website called Stillwhite. I bought it for over 60% off the retail price from the seller and it was never worn! I knew immediately when I saw the dress that I had to have it. I've had it for over 2 months now and I'm still more sure and more in love than ever.

View Quoted Comment My wedding is March 2021, I started looking January of this year and ended up finding my dress at the 2nd store. Some stores charge a rush and some dresses take months to come in. I would start looking a year out just to be safe on not possibly paying rush charges
