How many types of favors is enough??

I read. A lot. I wanted to design a bookmark for everyone. My FH wants to give out fish hooks. But I also want to give out tiny bottles of either strawberry wine or homemade jam. How much is enough? Or is there a limit haha

I now have the song Strawberry Wine by Deana Carter stuck in my head...I also agree that the wine or jam would suffice.

    1 is to many IMHO.

But 1 is also more than adequate for most people's needs.

Do a lot of your guests fish? Cause I'm not sure if that's such a great favor otherwise. Can you design a fishing themed bookmark ("he hooked her" "best catch of his life" or something not so cheesy) and call it good? I think that with either jam or wine is good. If you want to only pick one, people usually prefer something edible.

It's super cute Memaw wants to help!

Just make sure she knows how many jars would be expected. I remember reading somewhere a bit back of a bride that had around 250 guests and was going to make jam for them as favors, like full sized jars. She ended up giving up because it was so much fruit and work. (That was my horror DIY story that made me go nope hire all the vendors buy all the things.)

A lot of the people on FH side do fish. I think I'm the only reader I know out of all the people we know together haha.

Thank you all so much for the input. I appreciate it. I'm definitely going to go the edible route. Now to decide jam or wine haha.

We're not doing any favors. So 4 sounds like way overkill to me.

Instead of favors, I opted to really focus on plenty of good food, free-flowing alcohol, and good music. As a special 'thing' I had Ben & Jerry's come and scoop ice cream for an hour and the guests loved it!
