How many tables

TheOGJesse's Girl, on November 8, 2013 at 12:29 PM Posted in Planning 0 9

So I've emailed my venue and gotten no answer in regards to this question. I am having about 125 guests, including us and guest party. About how many tables is that?

About 16 if you are having 8 people to a table.

Thank you! I think it is 8 to a table. I didn't know if it was 8 or 10.

Do you know if your tables are rounds or rectangles? Agree with Melissa that generally tables seat either 8 or 10. (or obviously you can have a mix if your numbers aren't even)

Well it depends on the size of the table - you will need to know that from your venue

for example mine will do either 72" inch tables (10-12 people) or 60" inch tables (8-10 people)

I emailed my venue the same thing yesterday and she responded that there are 8 to a round table so however many guests divided by 8 .... I am going to have 18-22 at the head table and 200+ at round tables. hope this helps! Smiley smile

It kinda depends on how you are doing your head table/s. But 8 to a table is a good number 10 can make the table a little too friendly ... LOL
