How many table.

Jazmin, on February 3, 2019 at 2:44 AM Posted in Wedding Reception 0 8
I am expected to have from 150-200 people at my wedding I don’t know how many tables to get. If I get bigger tables will that be more expensive? Any advice.

What shape are your tables? What size? If they're typical 8' rounds, you can seat 8-10 people per table. I would opt for 8 if possible so that people have elbow room. That would be 19 tables for 150 guests or 25 tables for 200 guests.

I’ll probably do 10 per table but that depends on the size of the table. If you have to pay more for bigger tables that fit 12 the price might be resanable since you’re saving on centerpieces. You’ll be reducing about 4 tables if 200. So do the math to see what’s worth saving on

60” rounds seat 8 comfortably. Divide your number by 8 and voila! That’s how many tables you’ll need.
72” rounds seat 10. I’m sure about rectangle tables.

If you want dancing a 30*60 tent is not going to be large enough for 150-200 people, FYI.

The larger tables cost a little bit more as do linens, but when you figure you need less of them it came out to about the same cost, in my research.

It depends if you get round vs. banquet tables and if you want linens. I'd have a rental company price out a couple of options for you. You can use AllSeated too to set up a seating chart.

Agreed, depends on the type of table.
