How many sides?

We are having a bbq style buffet, is 4 sides enough? To many? To few? We are expecting around 100 people (waiting on a ton of rsvp's). I think we have something like 20 sides to pick from. Also is cake enough for dessert or do we need another option? Thanks!

    I have no idea but that sounds delicious!!!

    I'd just be sure to offer enough to fill up a vegetarian.

    Four sides is plenty! As long as it's a good variety (which, you have 20 to choose from, so there should be plenty of different options, like a potato, a pasta, a salad/vegetable, etc.)

    Cake is enough, but I'd suggest a cookie or ice cream bar if you want to have fun with it.

    We are doing 5 sides. I think it's plenty. ETA: were doing mashed potatoes, Mac n cheese (mostly for the kids but adults love it too) mixed greens salad and fresh fruit and corn

    4 sides is plenty! Just make sure you have one light vegetable option, since a lot of BBQ sides are pretty heavy,

    We will have a Cole slaw for sure and have no vegan/vegetarian guests attending, not any gluten free. Just dairy, and nut allergies to worry about possibly.
