How many should I make?

Future Mrs Beltran, on April 22, 2014 at 12:08 PM Posted in Planning 0 13

I am making these favor boxes in my colors and adding Andy mints inside. I was wondering what is the norm for giving away favor boxes, 2 per family or 1 for each individual? With the exception of kids. Should they be placed on each table for each individual? I am so clueless.. Sorry in advance :p

I would say one for each individual who is present to celebrate your special day with you. Smiley smile

I'm placing mine at each table setting. One per person.

Should I start making them one month in advance? I was worried the mints would'nt taste fresh if I started to early.

I did the same idea, one at each table setting.

It's my understanding that it is one per person and they are placed at each table setting so that the guest gets it when the got to their seat.

    That's also what I'm doing.

I agree with making one per person and putting them at each place setting. I'm not sure how long Andes mints last, but if I were making them myself I would probably get as much done as possible early on-- like assembling the boxes, making the tags, etc. and add the candy at the last minute. Might be a good weekend-before-the-big-day project. Those are really adorable, btw!

@Cristi & Ryan I think you're right, I need to start making assembling them and add the mints at the last min. I just have to find a way to put the mints in there after putting the ribbon and tag.
