Oh lord. Delete your honeymoon registry!!! It's so tacky and rude! ETA because I wasn't being helpful. We are registered at Macy's, Sur la Table and Amazon.

No one is going to answer your actual question. All you will get are replies about the honeyfund. Your best bet is to hide this thread and do a search on this forum on honeyfunds so you will see all the negatives.

I registered at 2 places: BBB and West Elm. I think two is plenty and any more and it's just hard for people to remember or care about.

Was not your question, but...Honeyfunds are considered rude here. They seem greedy and take fees from your guests. If you want cash, have a small registry and people will know to give you cash.

We registered at 3 places. Macy's, Williams-Sonoma, and Amazon. There is no rule on how many places, but we thought that 3 was more than enough. I think you should pick one brick-and-mortar store for guests who would prefer to shop in person.

Don't do a honey fund. Those sites take a percentage of your gift without any added benefit. People know how to give money without the middleman.

Personally, at least 2 places. But I agree, please delete your honeymoon fund!! The companies take a % of your gift and cheat your friends. Anyone who wants to, will write you a check. TRUST ME. We registered 3 places and still had thousands of dollars in cash and checks given to us. People who want to, will give you money.

That was quick! Thank you for understanding! You're definitely going to fit in well around here. :-) As for where to register, BB&B is always a safe choice. Otherwise just keep it small and people will give you cash.

I think Amazon is a great place to register because you can literally get anything! Gives you lots of flexibility. We have a Christmas tree on ours lol

I did BB&B, Target and Macy's. I think 2-3 is good, it gives your guests options for different price points and plenty of variety.

LV you have posted a lot of different things about your wedding i.e. outdoors in Vegas, reception in hotel room, and some other stuff including the dreaded honey fund. My suggestion is that you read Wedding Etiquette by Emily Post before you do anything else regarding your wedding.

I registered at 3 different places. crate and barrel, target, and bed bath and beyond. Crate and bareel I just threw in for fun because I think some of their stuff is so expensivve but I absolutely love it!

Before registering anywhere, make sure you read their refund/exchange policy. For example, Kohl's has a notoriously crappy policy that makes it near impossible to get a refund for a duplicate gift.

"It’s also okay to set up honeymoon registry (as one of your “up to three” registries). Where possible, describe how different contributions will be used: “$80: rental car for a day of Rob driving us through the hills of Tuscany.” Donation registries are also fine, but draw the line at anything controversial. A local food bank, yes; a political candidate, no." This came right off their website but I took it down because I agree that maybe it's a bit tacky and rude I honestly had no intention of appearing that way.

We did 3: BB&B, Target, and Amazon. Our BB&B is the largest list, but Target has some cheaper items (for our recent college graduate friends who aren't as well off financially) and Amazon has objects that are harder to find in stores (like specific kitchen gadgets, room deco, etc.). We thought that was plenty and would give our guests lots of different choices.
