How many pictures?

We got about 550 photos for 8 hours, two photographers. We did not have a wedding party though, and also both have very small immediate families. We had about 75 guests.

We had 2 photographers for about 10 hrs. We also had 60 guests and got back around 1700 I think. Could be off it’s been a while. But I think that number is close.
We did a 1 hr shoot on our honeymoon, just 1 photographer, and got 100 photos.

We got right around 1,000 photos but a lot were similar photos from different angles and we had two shooters for 8 hours, including getting ready time. We had a 9 person wedding party, plus parents and grandparents in attendance. We also had 130 guests.

We got about 900 photos which included getting ready photos, a first look with my dad and a first look with my husband, bridal party and family photos, additional couple photos, ceremony and reception photos. We had a second shooter and they were at our wedding from noon until 10 pm.

We had two photographers for 8hrs. at our 90-person wedding. We got well over 800 pictures from the day with minimal “getting ready” photos. I agree that 200 seems too few. What amount of time and how many photographers does this include, as that can be a factor?

We have been so blessed with our photographer I can't begin to express the gratitude I have with her. For our engagement we were suppose to have a 2 hour shoot and up to 200-250 photos and she stayed with us for almost 5 hours and gave us close to 500 photos all edited and beautifully captured us as one. Our wedding is expected to have our photographer for 10 hours and 100-150 photos per hour. She will also be having a second shooter for the day ✨💕 Very excited.

For how many hours will you have your photographer?

We hired ours for 6 hours. Only very few getting ready pictures and details shots before the wedding. No parents or immediate family could be there. No bridesmaids. About 80 guests. We were on a smaller budget and found someone whose picture we lived who agreed to work within our budget. We got 340 pictures. There were a few shots we would have liked that we didn't get (but I also read that from brides who had over a 1000 pictures). But all in all we are super happy with out pictures. I put about half in our album and we have a few on the wall. Honestly, sometimes I am a bit jealous of the brides with bigger budgets who got 1000 pictures bit than I realize I would have no idea what to do with all those pictures and our 340 are perfect and a great memory of a perfect day.

How long are you having the photographer for? My engagement session was only an hour and she delivered 200 edited photos. I have my photographer for 7 hours for wedding day and I think she will deliver around 800 - 1,000 pictures. Some photographers will mention how many edited pictures they will deliver in their contract.

This is what the photographer sent me. After reading all the replies here, I think the number of photos is just too low.
