For those who are married, or have received all RSVPs already: what percentage of your guest list actually RSVP'd yes? I've seen all these guest list calculator websites but not sure what's the best way to think about these numbers. We guaranteed 90 guests when we booked our venue. Currently we have 100 guests on our draft of the guest list. About 90% of the guests are local, only a few out of towners. I'm wondering if we should add more people to the list to ensure we meet our minimum of 90 guests. If so, how many more? Any thoughts about this?

I'm sure there have been posts like this before, but trying to google (since I'm on mobile) is not giving me the results I'm looking for.

Our minimum was 50 guests. We invited 89, and ended up with 57. There were a lot of out of town guests though.

    64%

It really depends. We so far have 100% acceptance. People we thought wouldn't come are coming Smiley smile (we've planned to be able to afford all our guest list, so it was a happy surprise) but my FCIL had a 40% decline rate :/

Out of 66 invites, we've gotten back 2 No's for a total of 4 guests.

We've had 80 yes's, 30 no's, waiting on 28, and have about 4 that have RSVP'd verbally but haven't sent anything yet (something like "Yeah I think I'll be there").

It's very specific though - FH's entire family RSVP'd yes, and over half of OOT RSVP'd no.

ETA: I didn't include the percentage - 72% so far

@Allison I would be LIVID! Did they have a valid excuse or give you one for not coming?

Alyssa- yep. it was a pretty shitty thing. I had two people actually text me the day before about the wedding and then didn't show up. No warning.

And still, not one of those people that didn't give a warning have apologized or acknowledged that we wasted money on them.

211/279 have RSVP'd yes, which is like 74%. A big chunk of the no's were my coworkers (who I was pretty sure wouldn't travel from Chicago to Ohio for my wedding) and some of my out of town family (ie my aunt is coming but not her husband & 3 kids because they're still in school).

114/174 invited said yes, so that is about 66%, The 174 includes everyone's plus ones, so some are coming without plus ones. Also, we have a large amount of people from out of town.

Our RSVP date is this Saturday and we currently are at over 90% yes of our almost 200 person guest list, with only about 6 we are waiting on, we can accommodate all of them, but in terms of tables we were planning for 70-80% and if everyone else says yes we are going to have several more tables than expected
